Cherrywood with Brass Inlay Trestle Table

Cherrywood Trestle Table

This trestle table is based on a 17th Century English refectory dining table. The table is 3.3 metres long and 1.1 metres wide to comfortably seat ten people. Crafted with meticulous joinery, this table will no doubt enjoy centuries of entertaining.

The table top uses traditional pegged tenon mitre joins and has six panels framed with brass inlay. The construction is strengthened with a stretcher beam which is pegged at the base. Baluster carved columns on sleigh feet complete the base, and the brass detail is continued in the base of the toe. A hand varnish ensures a hard wearing and long lasting finish.
